Sernis Speed Meter to check driving speed

Sernis, the Portugese company has developed a solar powered system SRL-SM30 that detects vehicles’ speeds and informs drivers about it, the idea being that once drivers become aware they are over speeding, they will change their driving behaviour. The system has a CW (Continuous Wave) Doppler Radar that detects vehicles at speeds ranging from 16km/hr to 199km/hr. It has a user-friendly interface through which different configurations can be easily adjusted. The device has display digits 30cm high with bright LEDs, making it visible from large distances, even under direct sunlight. It is very effective when used on residential streets and near school zones.
