Big Show, Big Business

Enriching Experience

S Gangopadhyay, Director, Central Road Research Institute: I have been at the earlier edition of the Show too. This time, I am happy to see such a large space being devoted to the urban mobility segment. Urban transport is one of the serious problems that India faces. I congratulate the organizers of TrafficinfraTech Expo for their untiring efforts to bring these issues to the forefront and provide a platform for the Indian traffic industry

Muktesh Chander,  Special Commissioner – Traffic, Delhi Traffic Police: We need to 10have many more such platforms to create awareness and bring together private players and government sectors to express their views and exchange ideas. Urban mobility is one of

Sanjeev Kumar Lohia, Chief Engineer (Bridges), Northen Railway: I have been visiting TrafficInfraTech Expo for the last two years, and have seen the show growing in stature, participation and even in the quality of visitors. It provides a seamless platform for all the major stakeholders of the traffic industry – solution providers, decision makers, traffic experts and planners. Even the conferences/seminars have become an important and successful forum for exchange of information on traffic related core issues. We were looking to install surveillance cameras and found HIKvision products suitable for our needs.

Ravi Palekar, General Manager-Electronics, National Highways Authority of India: The infrastructure segment is actively adopting advanced systems and it was good to see innovative technologies showcased at the show. We were also able to meet quite a few system integrators. In fact, the entire event was informative and more technology oriented which is a step in the right direction.

Anil Shukla, Joint Commissioner of Police-Traffic, Delhi: Trafficinfratech Expo is definitely an ideal platform to bring together the technology providers and different end users including the Police Department. We are looking for original system/ product manufacturers who have the expertise, capabilities and experience in the specific field to
cater to our requirements. The Police department has a huge budget for installing traffic management systems, however, very often it becomes difficult to find the right vendor.

Sudhir Raut, General Manager-Transport, Kalyan – Dombivli Municipal Corporation: I came looking for ITS applications, passenger Information Systems in buses, safety & security systems and in multi-storeyed parking. I managed to get relevant information from Hikvision that provides indigenous products and the exhibitors from China.
