We are showcasing our System Solutions and Products to potential customers with the new advanced features and updates related to our traffic products portfolio and Smart City solutions portfolio. At the same time, we would like to seek feedback from our existing customers so that our Systems and Services can be further enhanced.

We will be showcasing Adaptive Traffic Control System (ATCS) and Integrated Command & Control Software Platform developed & implemented by BEL.

Smart City / Safe City Solution

By 2030, 60% of world population is expected to live in cities resulting in heavy strain on energy, transportation, water, waste management, building, public spaces, public health & safety etc. Smart City uses IoT based digital technologies or Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to enhance and sustain the Quality of Life of every citizen and enable the Civic authorities for easy and efficient management of Municipal Services.

With the smart city mission mandate of Government, BEL has embarked into smart city business and emerged as leading Master System Integrator (MSI) with successful track record complemented by domain knowledge. BEL has created foot prints in 16 cities spanning all over India. Belagavi, Agra, Kohima, Pasighat & Itanagar have been already declared Go Live. Balance cities are under various stages of completion.

BEL provides end to end solutions with its own in-house developed Smart City platform, Video Management System, Video Analytics, Access control system and Adaptive Traffic Control System (ATCS) etc. besides addressing various smart city segments i.e. Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC), City Surveillance, Intelligent Traffic Control System (ITMS), Geographical Information System (GIS), Environmental Sensors, Solid Waste Management system (SWM), Emergency Control Box (ECB), Public Address System (PAS), Variable Message Display signage (VMD), Data Center (DC), Smart Transport System (STS), e–governance and OFC cabling. ATCS system developed by BEL is designed for heterogeneous traffic, in which traffic count and occupancy is taken in to account and highly optimized for Indian conditions.
