The Punjab government signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Dubai-based Virgin Hyperloop One to conduct a pre-feasibility economic study for Amritsar-Ludhiana-Chandigarh routes.
According to Virgin Hyperloop One, the project will reduce travel time from five hours by road to less than 30 minutes on the Amritsar-Ludhiana-Chandigarh route.
