Ten ultra luxury buses for Gurgaon

Haryana Roadways will add ten new ultra luxury low-floor Mercedes Benz and Volvo buses to its fleet in Gurgaon, a part of its plan to run 320 buses in two shifts for the city by the year end. It is also procuring 50 low-floor air conditioned Marco Polo CNG buses from Tata Motors. Ten of these buses would be included in the fleet by the end of June while the rest would be added by the end of August. Currently, Haryana Roadways plies 100 buses each in two shifts for its Gurgaon services, out of which 40 buses are semi-low floor and rest are standard ordinary buses. The agency transports about one lakh commuters on 15 routes every day, spread over an area of 22,000km.
