Bringing together the who’s who of the transportation sector

I have been attending this expo for the last three years. The initiative taken by the organizer is commendable, bringing together traffic and road safety players under one roof. I can see, there is huge improvement in terms of footfall and the number of exhibitors in this expo.

I am very delighted to be part of this Expo. I can see many advanced technologies showcased that include ITS, AI, ML etc. Due to the amount of development happening in the transport sector, through this Expo, we would like to expand our operation beyond just financing projects.

The government has decided to equip around 50 RTO offices with IDTR system. Within three months, 90 services for the citizens will be online and no human intervention will be required, except for the driving tests. We have identified some of the IT solutions for the traffic sector at the Expo.
Shekhar Channe,
 Transport Commissioner, Maharashtra

I am really surprised to witness a large number of exhibitors here displaying a wide variety of technologies related to mobility. We have identified a few and are thinking to implement in our region.

During the exhibition, I had met majority of IT equipment OEMs and SIs at single place and learned about many upcoming digital technologies for the infrastructure. Also, there is a necessity of topical sessions such as Tolling, which I was part of, as there is lack of awareness among people. The session was good and the speakers were domain experts.
