Infrastructure is the main thrust of the present government. With new highways coming up, one of the problems that always crops up in India is the maintenance of the highways. Swiss-based Kistler Instruments has brought sensors which are primarily for the maintenance of highways. They also enhance the life of the highways. Another application of this sensor is toll collection. If a vehicle is overloaded than the prescribed limit on the road, a penalty should be levied. This sensor calculates and tells the weight of the vehicle. So this product has multiple applications.

We participated in TrafficInfraTech Expo to showcase our product range to the regulatory authorities in government departments, system integrators and for toll-plaza builders. And we were able to do so.

We provide enforcement equipment like laser based speed enforcement equipment, breath analysers, and sound level meters (which check the sound of any particular area or from any procession or the factories). We have been participating in this exposition right from its inception. We are proud to be part of TrafficInfraTech expo and also its various seminars.

At Comvision, we deliver large scale government integration and intelligent traffic & transport solutions. Our solutions bridge the technology gaps in India. We have expertise in Electronic Toll collection and are trying to integrate all the highways with one RFID card which is a ‘Made in India’ and also, ‘implemented in India’ product. We have also integrated intelligent light solutions and are planning the bus-scheduling system. When these systems are integrated, it can bring about a vast change in the traffic situation of our country.We participated for the first time in the Expo, and it was a great experience. We are overwhelmed with the response.

We are a Germany based company and provide software for the optimization and planning of transport infrastructure. Since the last few years, our focus has been on the Indian market and of course, the very interesting part of the development is the Smart City initiative. We presented our Traffic Management Solutions for ATCC and also traffic prediction.

We have developed a bespoke solution to understand and create adaptive traffic signals which can control the existing traffic controllers with just upgradation of the software onto the hardware signal controller. This is able to reduce the delays in traffic signals, increase synchronization and also increase the road capacity by 25-30% to make the streets smart and intelligent. We have installed another solution, PTV Optima, in various cities around-the-world.

We are very happy to have participat in the TrafficInfraTech Expo. It has been a very interesting and positive experience. We hope to be part of this initiative in the coming years too.
