This segment is has vast potential to expand.

b. In toll collection segment, the company executes the contract of User Fee (Toll) Collection to the satisfaction of NHAI by bringing in use of toll automation software, latest computer hardware and surveillance cameras, electronic toll collection equipment etc. with deployment of well-trained and disciplined staff. The company has already introduced its own technology at toll collection projects of NHAI and State PWD. With the government’s target to build National Highways of 5000km per year, the number of tolls on the NHs is expected to double in the next four years.

Where all have the technology been implemented?

a. In Smart Parking Segment, we have implemented the technology at Union Territory of Chandigarh, with 25 offstreet smart parking lots + 1 multi level parking lot, managing around 60,000 vehicles on daily basis.

b. In toll segment we have implemented the technology at about 25 Toll Plazas across India.

Problems/challenges in integrating traffic and parking systems with other systems?

In Smart Parking Segment, we found that it was not an easy task to integrate the products with systems as the interface was to be developed as per the requirement of the area in which the solution is to be implemented, which has been eventually achieved in a record time. The Smart Parking Solutions are easy to install, display and implement while converting from conventional Parking to Smart Parking theme. We had to train the staff initially in accordance to the technology implemente. Women constitute about 50% of our parking staff. Our experience shows that women in particular manage the system very efficiently.

In toll collection segment, we have so far not faced any serious problems while integrating the system, as we have demonstrated the desired level of expertise.
